Benny Harrison is a native New Yorker, born in Spanish Harlem his parents moved to New Jersey where he began his musical journey. Benny has always been fascinated with rhythm. At the age of 5, his grandmother would catch him dancing to the pulsating beat of their washing machine!

 At the age of 8, Benny soon found himself behind a piano. Thanks to the keen ears of his mother, he soon began piano lessons and so his musical journey began and has proven to be a lifelong trip. He hasn't lost his love and enthusiasm for his art...songwriter, producer, entertainer, vocalist, keyboardist/guitarist. Always striving to create and be a better musician/artist has been his trajectory.

 Benny just finished his first solo album "PAGES", co-produced by Mike Ciro (Alicia Keys and Alejandro Sanz). His first single, "SOON" will be available for download this summer.

 You can now add the title "SHOW RUNNER" to his resume. Benny is co-producing a 3 part docu series called "BACK UP FRONT" about about his career and the musicians he works with currently and those who have been mentors in his life. It takes hard work to create the concert experience and what has to be done before the lights go on and the curtain rises.

 For the last 6 years, Benny has worked with Veterans who are either suffering from PTSD, alcohol, drug abuse or homelessness, in a program called "Voices of Valor." It's a 9 week process to write a song with the Vets who have served our country so well. Benny produces and creates the musical/harmonic part of the process, and then takes the Vets into a recording studio, where they can experience the process for themselves. A week later, they are given a CD release party with an accompanying DVD of the whole experience. Truly a gift to be able to give something back to those who have given so very much.

 Benny just did a premier of his new album "PAGES" at the prestigious CUTTING ROOM, in NYC, with his recording/touring band – MIKE CIRO (guitar), BRIAN DUNN (drums), GENE PEREZ (bass), EMEDIN RIVERA (percussion), KIETH ANTHONY FLUITT, TOMMY BOWES, BOBBY ROMAN (Vocals). Special Guests JOE BONAMASSA and JULIO FERNABDEZ (Spyro Gyra) added to the excitement of the evening to a sold out crowd. These are world class players who play and/or perform with iconic artists in the Rock, Hip-Hop, Soul, Country, Latin, and Pop industries.

 Touring has kept Benny in the presence of thousands. Whether it is with THE RASCALS featuring FELIX CAVALIERE and GENE CORNISH, or TOMMY JAMES, in the USA/Hawaii or Europe and Russia, or in the past with HIRAM BULLOCK, Benny Harrison has proven that he is a cross generational artist/entertainer that continues to evolve.
